Rachel Sobol is a senior BFA Musical Theatre Major and Arts Administration Minor at Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas.
Rachel is originally from Lake Zurich, Illinois, a Northwest suburb of Chicago. Her love of performing started when she took her first dance class at age 3. But, her true love of theatre began when she watched the VHS tape of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, with Donny Osmond as Joseph, when she was 2 years old. Watching that tape over and over growing up, she truly believed that "any dream will do."
She found herself through music as she took piano lessons, dance classes, learned the viola, and took voice lessons. Nothing made her happier than being on stage, but it took her until high school to realize that she wanted to spend her life creating art through theatre.
She was able to find a place to pursue her dreams at TCU. She is a member of the John V. Roach Honors college. At TCU, she is involved in leadership with Alpha Psi Omega national theatre fraternity and First Year Experience program, Frog Camp.
